ABOUT THE EVENT…
The Keystone Award Luncheon honors an individual, couple, or group that has left a lasting legacy in enhancing the quality of life for older adults in the community. Additionally, the event pays tribute to a deceased individual who made a significant impact on seniors, helping to shape Lincoln into a city that values and supports its aging population.
Attended by more than 200 advocates for seniors in Lincoln, the Keystone Award Luncheon is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Seniors Foundation. Proceeds support special projects for Aging Partners, including:
- Transportation Vans – Enabling the delivery of over 50,000 meals annually to 11 senior centers.
- Technology & Wellness – Providing computers and exercise equipment to enhance the senior community’s resources.
- NeighborLNK Program – Connecting volunteers with homebound seniors for support, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Victory Park’s “One Campus” Initiative – Aiding the development of a unified space for Aging Partners and Veteran services.
This event not only celebrates outstanding contributions to senior well-being but also ensures continued support for vital programs benefiting older adults in the community.
